Reserve Your Seat TodayWith the expanding number of applications that utilize propane as a power-source for generators and other equipment, a way to control wastes and monitor fill levels is a necessity. No one wants a nasty surprise of a generator not having fuel, or to find out that you've been paying for full refills and only receiving partial amounts because of remaining propane levels or refill techs that didn't pay attention.
Now that you have deployed a well built propane fueling system as well as sensors to monitor the fill levels, it is time to consider a tank switching method. Normally, when a tank runs low, you have to either schedule a delivery or remove a tank from the bay and switch to a full unit in order to maintain services. What happens if your delivery driver is late? How much downtime will you experience while swapping tanks? Are you able to refill the tanks yourself?
With the inclusion of an LPG Controller, your monitoring tasks are taken care of for you. A device like this links up to your sensors and provides a constant monitoring of a range of parameters. As your tank reaches empty, the unit signals for the valves to shut off the empty tank while opening the next full tank. Instead of having to guess, or manually switch tanks, an LPG Controller automatically performs these duties for you.
With the notifications received at your NOC or through alarms sent directly to your fueling crew, you can effectively determine when to schedule deliveries and you will know for sure that you are getting the most for your money. No more pulling tanks that still have propane in them, no more partial fills, and if your system develops a leak you can easily be notified through alarms as well as logged updates in your database related to run times, fill levels, and flow rates.
If you have equipment that runs on propane, an LPG Controller is a great way to help improve efficiency.
