Reserve Your Seat TodayThe powerful LAN-based NetDog 82 IP G2 telecom RTU provides network managers with remote visibility, allowing them to keep watch of their IP network elements. With 32 ping alarms, 8 discrete alarms, 0-4 analogs, 2 control relays, and a reach-through serial port, this compact, versatile unit is the ideal network monitoring solution for small to medium sized sites.
If an element fails to respond to successive pings, or if something is amiss with the environmental controls, the NetDog notifies personnel using a variety of methods with a complete status message.
See the wireless, battery-powered NetDog that can sustain your monitoring even during an outage.
Here's what the NetDog G2 can do for you:

Fuel tanks, battery power, lighting systems, and water levels are just some of things you need to monitor to keep your network up and running. Track changing network conditions with these discrete & analog sensors.
The external temperature sensor provides external temperature readings by plugging the sensor into the TEMP port on the NetDog 82IP G2's front panel. Part Number: D-PR-991-10A-07.
Ping alarms are used to contact other devices and determine their network presence. If a given device does not respond within the user defined time frame, it is reported as off line. The line port is a modem interface to a telephone line. When the NetDog has an event to report, it uses this port to dial out to a paging terminal or an alarm management system, such as the T/Mon LNX.
Alarm Forwarding With Local Visibility: The T/Mon NOC consolidates alarms from diverse equipment to a single data stream, forwarded to a top-level MOM in the protocol of your choice. At the same time, regional NOC staff and technicians can view alarms within their area of responsibility.
The NetDog 82 IP G2 is the ideal solution for small sites where rack space is a premium. Compact enough to mount on a wall or fit on a tabletop, the NetDog has 8 discrete alarms, 32 ping alarms, and 0-4 controls.
