How These Applications Work:
The Hinged Pluggable Back Plane for the NetGuardian will make installation an easier task with its pluggable feature. The Hinged Pluggable Back Plane can be attached behind the NetGuardian to facilitate alarm termination. The back plane consists of pluggable barriers that allow convenient termination access to the discrete alarms, controls and analog inputs. This is ideal for uses where rack space is at a premium. The Hinged Pluggable Back Plane is designed with back panel hinges that open for easy access to the data (serial) ports, LAN, phone and power connections of the NetGuardian. NOTE: The connectors on the Hinged Pluggable Back Plane support 18 - 26 AWG wire (stranded or solid). DPS recommends using 24 AWG wire (stranded).
|The Wire Wrap Back Panel Is Another Easy Alarm Termination Method...|
The Hinged Wire Wrap Back Panel will attach behind the NetGuardian to facilitate alarm termination. The back plane consists of two wire-wrap fields that allow convenient termination access to the discrete alarms and controls. The analog inputs have a special header that plugs directly into the NetGuardian's analog inputs. Since this is a hinged design, there is still easy access to the ports. NOTE: The Hinged Wire Wrap Back Panel supports 18 - 26 AWG wire (solid) DPS recommends using 24 AWG wire (solid) with the Hinged Wire Wrap Back Panel.
The 66 Block greatly reduces the time and possible errors made when terminating alarms from the NetGuardian. It mates wit a Male Amphenol cable from the NetGuardian or KDA, and is configured with rows of wire-wrap pins connectivity. NOTE: The 66 Block supports termination of 22 - 26 AWG (0.81 - 0.41mm) solid insulated cable or 18 - 19 AWG (1.02 - 0.91mm) solid stripped cable. DPS recommends using 24 AWG wire (solid).
